And in Arizona, you want the display active all the time with the coolant temperature on a large gauge display where you can see it at any moment.Īnyway, I haven't had any problems with the Torque Pro app and it did great helping me diagnose a few issues and OBD codes that turned up. With my old phone, if I wanted the display active all the time with Torque Pro, I h ad to plug the phone charger in. I don't expect it to be any different but the battery drain on the new phone seems to be much less running any app on it. I will be taking a road trip in about two weeks, so I will have a chance to test it out. I just got a brand new Samsung S8+ and I re-installed Torque Pro on it. I have heard that Dash Command is pretty much the equivalent on an iPhone, but I haven't actually used it.
